GRAPPLING FOR FIGHTING
With a twist towards self-defense applications, we take sport combatives such as wrestling, judo and jiu-jitsu and apply them to real world scenerios. If you are looking to learn the sport basics of many of the grappling arts or interested in self-defense from close quarters or ground encounters then this is the class for you. This is truly a grappling, ground, clinch & close quarter battle class!
ABSOLUTE ABS
This class is an absolute must for anyone looking to firm up their abs and core body. Done in a friendly and fun atmosphere the class is taught at an active and fun pace. Young, old or somewhere in the middle, if you want a stronger and leaner mid section then this is the class for you!
HEAVY BAG
Take your Krav Maga Combative training and put them to use in an intense heavy bag workout that is guaranteed to get you into better shape. This class will allow you to work on your techniques and become more comfortable using them as you burn calories, sweat and just get more fit.
Note: Boxing gloves or comparable bag gloves are required for this class.
LAW ENFORCEMENT DEFENSIVE TACTICS
(Offering both User end and Instructor Level training)
Law enforcement is and will continue to be a dangerous career. Balancing the need for your safety and protecting yourself from liability is difficult. In order to stay safe and win in court, you must train!
We offer training at both the User end and Instructor Level in the following areas:
Our lead Defensive Tactics Instructor (David Wright) has trained officers from all over the world. He has trained security teams for the United Nations, Department of Defense, NYPD, Philadelphia Police, US Marshals, DEA, Border Patrol, Pittsburgh Police, Chicago PD, Cleveland PD and many more agencies small and large. He is the lead defensive tactics instructor for two police academy’s and has been a contributing trainer with Pennsylvania’s Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission In-Service Use of Force Program. He is actively sought out and used as an expert in the field of Police Use of Force and Defensive Tactics Training.
YOGA AND STRETCH
Hatha Yoga (Strength & Flexibility) will aid you in developing your power, help defend against injury, lower you stress levels and make you more fit. No matter if your goal is to help that punch really fly or if you just want a sense of relaxation, yoga and stretch is a must!
